Romance - Intimacy that builds upon Him
Last night I had a long camp meeting with the programming head and hosts for the camp - Jorris, Jen and Xueting. Really thank God for Jorris, giving her best in planning all the camp program and coordination. It's really not easy =)
After the long meeting, I felt just so tired, went to meet Kevin who had also finished his singing prac. The moment we met, We sat in the car, I could sense that we were just so tired. We just parked our car somewhere near my house. Shared our days and things happen at work/ ministry. At certain moment, we just went silence. I could sense that that quietness just wanting to be still before God.
I shared that there are many important things to do everyday, if we cant deem what is important for us, people will deem it for us. Many things can draw us away from what is truly important. Eg. our worries, busyness, tiredness, workload, deadlines, people etc. Thus we need to determine what is important - that is setting time to pray and connect with the Maker.
We recalled what one of the speakers had mentioned in the recent church seminar that we had attended. He shared about how God has touched his spirit deep within which even hugs and physical touch cant reach. ---- I remembered when he was sharing this, Kevin and I just felt so true.. indeed only God can touch deep inside our heart and fill that emptiness with eternal love, fill that loneliness with his presence, fill that tiredness with his strength, fill that struggle with his assurance, fill that dryness with his spirit, wisdom, anointing...
At that moment, Kevin just took my hand and we started to pray. He was leading the prayer, he started to adore God's greatness, goodness, faithfulness. Then he prayed the Polydins camp - that people will meet God, encounter God's love and presence. People's heart will be changed, more like Christ. People will flood in to worship Him. And prayer continue... in fact after the whole prayer, we just felt so refreshed! It was more than just 2 of us together, but God is in the midst of this relationship. When we draw nearer to Him, our relationship with each other grow even more intimate. It's more than just hugs or kisses. But it connect our spirit closely with the maker.
When I reached home, I can't help but continue to muse on what God is going to speak to me. I had a gd time spent alone with God as well. As i reflect, i smsed Kev how much I love and appreciate him as we are so filled by God's love. In fact we can choose to draw strength and energy from each other, but we choose to turn to God for strength and love. We choose to appreciate and add on to each other as we received from God.
Romance -- I guess that's when you know that both couples had build their intimacy upon the Maker =)Labels: My Life

R.E.F.L.E.C.T.I.O.N.s
1 March! Cant believe it that 2 months have gone! I am entering into the last month of 1st Quarter! =)
I want to thank God for many breakthroughs and opportunities given in learning! Thinking back about the past 2 months, without God, nothing can be done.
May it be learning to lead prayer meeting, pre-svc prayer meet, improving in service leading, conduct BGR Serminar, preaching, taking new leadership, going through trainings, putting on new thinking cap to strategise.. all these cant be accomplished without being first Touched, Convicted, Moved by Him.
I'm just so compelled by His Love and Grace. God has never give up on me. Never. He never give up speaking, reminding, encouraging and inspiring me. He never give up in showing his love and assurance. He is just so close to me, even when I am typing now..
Remember times when I just broke down nights before preaching, remember the time when i just shouted in my heart that I wanna stop whatever I'm doing. Times when I felt stucked and lost.. I learn to see that it is not me, but God who empower. I learnt about trusting Him, relying on His strength.
Conviction grows day after day as I commit to spend time with Maker, I know He has great plan for me. What I need to be is a willing vessel to be used by Him, such that his great plan can be accomplished.
These few weeks I had been thinking about Polydins. How God has brought me in to serve in Polydins, growing from freshmen til now serving as full-time. I felt privilege and thankful! I felt so proud and excited about how God is using every one of us in Polydins to make IMpact!
Weeks ago, I passed by CCK ITE and Simei ITE, my heart pumped hard for the campuses! I see more than just ITE students, but Great Kingdom Minded students rising from within. I can imagine all the ITEs graduating and making impact in various sector of the society, eg, beauticians, hairstylist, hospitality, technicians etc. When I think about the Poly Campuses.. looking thru all the courses.. 47 courses in NP, 50 Courses in SP, 34 courses in RP, 47 courses in NYP, 44 Courses in TP, camps in NS. My heart just stirred with great excitement and anticipation of what God is going to do for this year.
SEED2010 is coming, this shall be the greatest event of 2010! I am anticipating on what God is going to do in our hearts!

Coming to 1 Year as Full Time church staff!
While I was preparing for this saturday sermon... getting a bit distracted.. went to my blog.. oops again.. not updating for ages!
Taking some time to pray for the leaders who are serving along with me in X2. I thank God for every one in the David Mighty Men's team! They are lovely bunch of people who love God and His flocks. Sacrificial, loving, faithful bunch of leaders who dreams BIG for Jesus! Not forgetting the RDMM team! - love them! They are great biblical models they live out their life fully for God! A bunch of crazy people! crazy for Jesus!
Start to reflect... It's coming to 1 year serving in Hope Church as a full time staff! I recalled the time I entered into staff team was 2008 Nov. I came in with simple mind, just serve, develop and grow! I felt privilege to be able to serve God alongside with all the spiritual giants (the pastors & staffs), who give their whole heart to Jesus. Many of them serve beyond their boundaries, giving the best to advance the Kingdom of God.
Although, I seldom go to office as my job requires me to travel around campuses and places to meet people. I always look forward to Mon & Thurs/ Fri to go back to office to have lunch and catch up with the colleagues! They were a bunch of fun loving, creative, energetic & crazy people!
I'm always thankful to have a great boss- Ps Jasmine. She gave me lots of opportunities to develop and improve. Always believing in me and encouraging me to be all that God wants me to be. Haa... we always have a common place for shepherding... (we are boring people when it comes to.. deciding food.. maybe not for her, but for me.) For the past 1 year, perhaps even way before I come into office.. we will always go to katong mall - a mini coffeeshop that only have 1 stall- for shepherding.. we seldom asked where should we go.. the moment we step out of office for catch up, we will end up there. Even the lady boss also know the food we want! What matter most isnt the food, but the time spent together.
I thank God for having such a godly, loving, beautiful and gentle boss. Well... she can be rather crazy in office. But her presence really matter, as she brings joy and energy to us! She is committed to God, committed to give her best to the church.
In these 1 whole year, I was challenged to stretch and serve more. I thank God for his grace, opportunities and strength. Experience mountains & valleys in life, yet I know Mountain mover & Valley lifter is there to keep watch and give me strength to overcome. I pray that God will continue to enlarge my capacity to serve Him. I may not know what will be happening next year or after, I could only thank God for bringing me thus far and looking forward to where his grace brings.. It shall be a supernatural & exciting encounter!
You are Faithful. You are Awesome. Thank you, Heavenly Father.

A Mountain- Moving Week!
Just finished watching the recording of Saturday POLYDINS svc preaching. I kept laughing at the funny expression & jokes that i shared. First time having breakthrough in sharing jokes that people will laugh!!! I was also greatly moved and touched by God working through me to speak to the congregation. During the watching of the video --- response/ altar call time, I lifted my hands and prayed to God. First time watching at the sermon with that kind of wah!!! IF it's not God then who? I can't deny that Power & Love of God moving in the service & my life.
I thank God for the courage that he gave. Many things not in the script, but was shared cos I'm truly convicted that Repentance is one of the key that usher Revival! God, thank you. Thanks for using me.
Thank God for Jasmine, not giving up on me & always believe in me, giving the best to train & guide me. It's a blessing to have a great mentor.
I love the RDMM team, they had stretched my faith recently, I enjoyed the time we shared about our learning as it spur & inspire me to grow! I love the DMM team, a great team to serve with, having fun time & greater bonding! I start to see greater unity in the team!
Many new challenges ahead but i believe with God, ALL things are POSSIBLE!
Thanks for loving me, dad. YOur Grace is enough.

MoNopoly CRaze Yesterday - Monday! Always look forward to Mon! It's never blues... Cos I know Tues is my OFF day! I had a great time catching up with jasmine in office. Bury myself in office to finish evo retreat planning & other admin stuffs. EVO coming! - Look forward to spend time with all the new believers!Evening time, had a great catch up with Andrew @ Airport.. awaiting to send Mingxiu off. Great catch up w Leslie, shareen, ace, kenneth & Isaac too! After sending MX off, we had a spontaneous plan... follow up on the EVO planning then.. shareen introduced to us Monopoly cards! Oh so so cool! such a fun game that we couldnt resist, ended up ace missed her last train home. So all of us went to take teh same bus 53. Guess what? Monopoly Craze... We played on the bus! 4 of us- Andrew, shareen, ace & me! it's so addictive! a great game! start to pick up some strategizing skills! I had been winning for 2 rounds! Good games does connect the people, just enjoy the fun time together!Labels: My Life

A Happening WeeK!
Ystdy was a great celebrative moment as we have 23 polydins going for water baptism!
It's always great to see our nee bro & sis taking step of faith & obedience to go for water baptism. Some of them has just overcame parental objections, while some finally made decision to go.. some just go for it without hesitation. No matter wat's the reason. They had done it! Congrats!
Looking forward to this week! It's EVO EVO EVO! Our EVo Retreat with the NEw believers & Follow Uppers!
Oh firstly, in jesus name, i prayed that sorethroat, cough & flu will be gone! No more wearing mask to teach!
